At Circular Summit Martin will be discussing Selling Used Mobile Phones to Enterprises and Businesses and referencing recent laws in France compelling corporations and public sector to integrate refurbished in their IT and mobile sourcing.

Olivia is an Associate Director within the Digital, Media & Technology sector of the Insights Team at YouGov. At Circular Summit she will be doing a deep dive into YouGov's recent research study that indicated six percent of mobile owners currently own a refurbished device and will be revealing top consumer concerns around choosing refurbished handsets

He has worked in various positions within the mobile and electrical industry, Specialising in commercial growth, pioneering new business development and significant market expansion. James has been working for Three Mobile Since 2013, and as UK Trade-in manager, he is responsible for delivering the company's tactical and commercial goals Via its circular device program.

Simon leads CCS Insight’s research activities, having joined from Futuresource Consulting, where he led the company’s research team as Director of Research. He has done extemsive work analysing the secondary mobile market and is a member of the industry committee looking into standardising quality grades for used devices in the UK.


John is VP UK at Kingfisher which was formed to develop mobile device ownership and drive circularity globally. With over 20 years’ experience in consumer telecom John is an accomplished Commercial Director and Executive Coach. His roles at VMO2, Carphone Warehouse, and EE saw him lead the strategic and commercial direction for core mobile categories. At Kingfisher John is dedicated to changing the mobile market through programmes that deliver customer acquisition, margin improvements and innovative customer experiences.

The Restart Project

Fiona is a co-director of The Restart Project charity, which helps people learn how to repair their broken electronic devices and also campaigns for the Right to Repair. She has spent more than 15 years in climate campaigning, working to engage public audiences in bringing about a more sustainable society.

Adam is the Global Head of Insight, Proposition, and Product Marketing at HMD, which he joined four years ago. He is a former Head of Marketing at OnePlus, where he led the EU Marketing and Brand teams to define the strategy and create content for OnePlus across Europe. Prior to that, he spent three years at EE, where he served as the Head of Marketing for tablets and mobile Wi-Fi. At Circular Summit he will be discussing HMD's philosophy and strategy on making device e repair easier through partnerships with tech companies such as iFixit

Francisco is VP for Data and Analytics at IDC EMEA. He leads the research that covers mobile devices, personal computing devices, emerging technologies, and the circular economy trends across EMEA. He provides in-depth analysis of the strategies and performance of the key industry players. Jeronimo has worked in the IT industry for 25 years, in Japan, Finland, Portugal and the UK. Before joining IDC, he was responsible for LG’s mobile devices business in Portugal. He worked with mobile operators and managed the distribution channel of the biggest mobile phone distributor in Portugal. He launched two start-ups and did project management and consultancy in mobility for several companies in a number of industries. He started his career in 1998 at Nokia’s R&D Center in Japan and then in Finland. Francisco is a regular commentator on trends in mobile telecommunications in leading industry and business publications, including the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, The Economist, CNBC TV, Bloomberg TV, Reuters, the BBC, The Independent, The Telegraph, The Guardian, Wired, and CNET.

Kane is the lead analyst for circular research within the Connected Devices team at CCS Insight, H has been researching various global technology industries since 2019 . His research has spanned emerging and established product areas, and has given him familiarity with many market segments and business models. Ricky is the founder of London-based Apple repair specialist iCorrect, tailored for SMEs and large corporates. Known for his expertise in sustainable repairs and microelectronics, he is a leading advocate for the circular economy. At iCorrect, he has pioneered and developed micro-electronics repair techniques that enable devices that would otherwise have to be replaced to be repaired and restored to a working life using parts that are sustainably sourced and remanufactured

His career includes roles at Vodafone, One 2 One (later T-Mobile UK/EE) and GSMA. In recent years, alongside assignments in the mobile sector, he has been working at the intersection of mobile, the internet and broadcast helping the IBC broadcast technology trade show navigate the transition from broadcasting to streaming to smartphones, tablets and connected TVs. He has also contributed to mobile, telecom and broadcast publications including Mobile News.

Before joining Virgin Media O2 as circular economy manager, Louise has worked as group head of marketing and sustainability at Circularity First, a group of sustainable IT businesses providing advisory and hardware services. At Circular Summit, Louise will be a panelist discussing the network's circularity strategies, such as trade-in options for customers and refurbishing and reselling used devices under manufacturer and network brands, and the benefits.
